The Roger Brackley Half Marathon Fundraiser, held on the 19th of May at Old Georgians Sports Club, was a remarkable event that brought together participants and supporters to raise funds for the operaration of USAP Community School. Through the collective efforts of all involved, 26,460 Zig and USD $10,600 was raised. The success of the fundraiser would not have been possible without the generous contributions and collaborative efforts of various stakeholders. Special thanks goes to the planners of the event and our sponsors, Innbucks, Harare Athletics Club and Simbisa Brands, for their invaluable support and dedication in making this year’s fundraiser a reality.
It was heartening to see so many people coming out to support our goal of providing quality education to all students in Zimbabwe. The funds raised will undoubtedly make a meaningful difference in supporting the USAP Community School’s mission of educating high-achieving, low-income Zimbabwean students to excel at the world’s top universities and return home to build society.
