USAP’s Got Talent: A Showcase of Diversity and Brilliance

The USAP Media Club recently hosted an electrifying event, USAP’s Got Talent. The event was a true celebration of diversity, with performances ranging from traditional mbira and marimba to contemporary singing and dancing. Poems were recited in various languages, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the USAP community. Judges, Maria Victoria Paredes and Federico had a challenging task selecting the winners, given the exceptional talent on display. While awaiting the results, attendees enjoyed refreshing ice cream and took part in a fun photoshoot and handmade photo booth.

Four advisory groups took to the stage to showcase their exceptional skills. The competition was fierce, but in the end, Ms. Raquel’s group stole the show, winning the coveted title of “Most Likely to Go Viral” Mr. Godwin’s group, however, surprised everyone with their unique performance, earning them the “Most Unexpected” award.

The success of USAP’s Got Talent was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Media Club and the participants. Setting up the room and preparing for the performances took an entire day, but the end result was well worth the effort. The event brought together students, teachers, and staff, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. As one attendee remarked, “USAP’s Got Talent was an unforgettable experience that showcased the incredible talent and creativity within our community.”
