A New Chapter Awaits: Farewell to Our Interns

At Education Matters, interns are more than just temporary team members—they’re an essential part of our mission and family. Over the past months, we’ve had the privilege of working with a talented and passionate group of interns who balanced their time between impactful work and preparing for the next step in their academic journeys. As they now get ready to begin their studies at top colleges and universities around the world, we reflect on their time with us, the legacy they’ve built, and the future they’re stepping into.

Meet the Interns

Moreblessing Banda

This fall, she joins Bates College (Class of 2029), where we know she’ll continue championing change.

Jacqueline Kudzai Gomba

A graduate of the USAPCS Class of 2024, Jacquelyn brought a curious mind, creative spark, and remarkable attention to detail to her role as Programs Intern. During her work on the Capstone Programme, Zimbabwe Career Connect, and many other projects, her contributions were thoughtful, thorough, and consistently precise. This fall, she joins Smith College (Class of 2029), where her drive for excellence and innovation will no doubt continue to flourish.

Torindwanashe Chizura

This fall, she begins her studies at New York University Abu Dhabi, where her discipline and advocacy are sure to thrive.

Knowledge Marikiti

A graduate of the USAP Class of 2024, Knowledge ensured our internal systems ran smoothly while fostering a creative and collaborative atmosphere. He was constantly brainstorming ways to make the office a better space—both in how it functioned internally and how it presented itself externally. With strong interests in sustainability and the performing arts, he is headed to Amherst College, where his diverse passions will no doubt thrive.

Ruvarashe Moyo

A graduate of the USAPCS Class of 2024, Ruvarashe brought clarity, professionalism, and reliability to her role as Personal Assistant to the Director. She was proactive, organized, and always willing to take on new tasks; no matter how complex or urgent. Outside of her work with Education Matters, she is passionate about sustainable development in marginalized communities: a focus she will pursue further at Princeton University, where she is sure to continue making a meaningful impact.

Grace Sibusiso Ndlovu

A USAP Class of 2024 graduate, Grace brought thoughtful storytelling and quiet leadership to our communications team. Her belief that “impact isn’t always measurable” guided her approach—elevating stories that might otherwise go untold. She will be joining Pomona College (Class of 2029), where her voice and perspective will no doubt continue to make a difference.

This talented cohort now heads off to Bates, Smith, NYU Abu Dhabi, Princeton, Amherst, and Pomona. We could not be prouder. Their next chapters will be full of discovery, challenge, and purpose—and we’re honoured to have been a part of their journey.

To our interns: thank you for your time, your energy, and your vision. You are forever part of the Education Matters story.
