On the 22nd -23rd of February 2023 the Zimbabwe Science Fair was hosted at Westridge High School. The competition featured primary and high school students from across Zimbabwe. The fair, which opened its applications at the beginning of the year, received hundreds of applications, and 120 applicants were selected as finalists by a panel of judges based at Brown University in the USA.
The students showcased their amazing projects to an audience of esteemed judges from local universities and research labs. 26 students from USAP Community School were amongst the 120 finalists chosen from about 400 applications. USAPCS is proud to announce that from those 26 students,13 of them won awards, more than any other school in Zimbabwe.
