Are you a national level student athlete in Zimbabwe? Are you interested in getting paid to play and study at the university level in the United States? Education Matters is currently accepting applications for our Student Athlete Cohort. The cohort is limited to 35 students who meet the following criteria:
- Students in L6 or U6 who are in good academic standing and meet NCAA academic eligibility requirements
- Motivated and committed to the application process
- Provincial or national selection in their main sport
- Member of an EducationUSA advising center
- Not working with any agent
NB: Cricket and boys’ hockey are not sport scholarship eligible in the U.S.
We are not agents and do not represent athletes nor do we charge students. We guide students through cohort workshops and individual appointments through the process of applying for sports scholarships to study at colleges and universities in the United States.
For more information, please attend a presentation at 530pm on Monday, March 21 at St George’s College on how to apply for a sports scholarship at 530pm in the Beit Hall of St. George’s College. We made a similar presentation for parents and student athletes in Bulawayo at Girls College last week and at St. John’s College this week.
To apply to be part of the Education Matters Student Athlete Cohort, complete this application online on or before Friday, March 25, 2016.
